Parent Participation

Families are welcome to meet regularly with staff to discuss their child‘s learning and development. We encourage this interaction to provide the best possible network of support. At least once a year, we will hold parent information evenings where staff and families discuss the centre’s operations and contribute to programming. We also regularly invite parents to hear guest speakers present on specific themes of interest, such as school readiness, behavioral guidance, and health and safety awareness.

Our philosophy is to provide warm and affectionate care, and stimulating learning experiences in a safe and tranquil environment. We believe in building strong relationships between staff and parents to create the best possible support network for each child. The centre incorporates the Early Years Learning and Development Framework into the centre philosophy and programming.

Open Doors Policy

We have an “open door” policy so that parents may visit their child any time they wish. We do ask parents who plan to visit their children frequently to follow the classroom routine, to avoid disturbing classroom schedules and activities. If you wish to meet with the Director or a staff member, please make an appointment so that arrangements can be made.
